Calibration Procedures
| Step 1 | Insert the microphone of the sound level meter carefully all the way into the coupler section of the SC‑942. |
| Step 2 | Set the sound level meter to a range suitable for measuring “94 dB” or “114 dB”. |
| Step 3 | Set the “OFF/94 dB/114 dB” switch to the “94 dB” or “114 dB” position. A pure 1000 Hz tone will be produced. |
| Step 4 | Adjust the calibration VR (knob) of the sound level meter until the display reaches exactly 94.0 dB or 114.0 dB. |
