Do not attempt to charge these batteries using chargers for nickel based batteries or any charger not specifically designed for this technology.
Lithium polymer cells are not sold as off the shelf products and are not generally available as a standard product from distributors. The reason is for safety. Please read this precautions sheet from Sanyo. Lithium polymer cells, however can be assembled into battery packs of single or multiple cells in series and/or parallel. All batteries should incorporate an approved safety circuit assembly built in to the pack design. For information on the safety circuits, more commonly know as a protection circuit module (PCM) please click here.
