The device the CTB104 is made to fit is a high demand device. The CTB104 uses a Japanese made lithium ion cell that has solved the short cycle life the original battery suffered from.
Most suppliers offering an alternative to the CTB104 are using a much lower grade cell inside & not the recommended Panasonic/Sanyo cell. This will almost certainly result in poor lifetime performance.
