#Please note this external battery takes the place of the DVD player power supply therefore has a similar voltage to the power supply output. Please do not confuse the voltage of this external battery with the voltage of the player's internal battery as this is irrelevant. The UEB-6 will not only run your DVD player as an external power source it will also charge your players internal battery at the same time (Assuming the internal battery inside the DVD player is still in a useable state of health & capable of charging).
