MG Energy Systems LFP Series - IP65 Rated Module
The MG LFP Battery 24 V 230 IP contains the third generation LiFePO4 chemistry forms the basis of this safe and reliable battery.
The IP65 plastic enclosure combined with its venting mechanism, SurLok connectors and M12 CAN-Bus, make the battery true IP rated. As extra safety level, the battery contains an exhaust system (installation optional). Installation is fully scalable in both voltage and capacity. Easily expand your energy storage system (ESS) by connecting the LFP batteries in parallel and series. Connect up to 22 modules in series, to create a battery voltage of 563 Vdc. Adding more parallel strings increases the system capacity. As a result, you can reach system capacities of over 1 MWh.

Practical Design
The LFP IP battery is designed with an eye for practicality. It features a clever design elements that streamlines installation and handling. This includes brackets, which enable easy surface mounting, saving time and design efforts. Besides that, convenient handles on top of the battery provide a secure grip for lifting and manoeuvring, making it easier to position and transport the battery, even in tight spaces.
True IP-Rated
The LFP IP battery is IP65 rated, thanks to its design features that ensure exceptional protection against dust and water ingress. Not only is the battery enclosure IP65, also the connectors and M12 connections are sealed. As a result the LFP IP battery is truly IP65 rated. This makes it an ideal choice for demanding applications where reliability and durability are paramount.
Exhaust System
The LFP IP battery features a sophisticated integrated exhaust system designed to prioritize safety. In the unlikely event of a thermal runaway, the exhaust opens under pressure, providing a secure release mechanism. Additionally, the exhaust incorporates a venting mechanism, allowing the battery to ‘breathe’ and maintain a stable internal environment. This prevents condensation from forming within the sealed enclosure and ensuring optimal operating conditions.
