Saft Lithium with Super Capacitors
Saft's LSP 3.6V Li-SOCl2 bobbin type cell range has long been trusted for use in long-term applications (typically from 5 to 20+ years), providing high capacity, high energy, wide operating temperature range and superior resistance to corrosion.
Saft has now expanded this range to offer Hybrid Primary Lithium versions, where the LSP cells are assembled in parallel with a Lithium Ion Capacitor (LIC), a pulse support component to sustain high amplitude / long duration pulses.
The benefits of the Saft Hybrid Primary Lithium range include:
- ability to store a significant amount of energy to extend operating time in wearable tech devices
- provide backup power for medical sensors and devices that absolutely must have reliable power
- deliver fast bursts of high power required in data transmission (RF, Bluetooth, etc)
As Saft's official distributor in Australia, Master Instruments stocks the Hybrid Primary Lithium range with 20 Farad or 70 Farad LIC's to meet a wider range of requirements in applications such as:
