Saft LSP14500-20F

The LSP14500-20F is a Saft 3.6V – 2.6Ah primary lithium-thionyl chloride (Li-SOCL²) high pulse AA-size bobbin cell fitted with a 20F LIC (Lithium-Ion Capacitor) in parallel connection for pulse support. Assembled with flying leads and JST (PHR-2) connector.

Ideally suited for long life applications featuring low base currents and periodic pulses, and periodic high current pulses up to 1.5A:

What is the difference between LIC and EDLC?

Compared to the electric double-layer capacitor (EDLC), the LIC has a higher output voltage. Although they have similar power densities, the LIC has a much higher energy density than other supercapacitors. LICs combine the high energy of LIBs with the high power density of EDLCs and have 5 times lower leakage current & self-discharge.
