The GlobalLink 530 connects your remote Victron system or individual products to VRM, Victron's Remote Management portal.

Through that portal, you can monitor current and historical system operation – such as battery voltage and state of charge – from anywhere in the world. VRM is free to use.

Unique is the pre -installed and pre -paid SIM card: the GlobalLink comes with 5 years of 4G LTE connectivity. No need to purchase and maintain SIM -cards.

What is the difference between a GlobalLink 520 and 530?

The main difference between the Victron GlobalLink 520 and the Victron GlobalLink 530 is the type of cellular connection they use. The GlobalLink 520 uses LTE-M (Cat-M1), which is designed for low-power IoT devices and works very well for simple remote monitoring of solar and battery systems with minimal data usage. It is cheaper, uses less power, and is ideal for caravans, off-grid sheds, and basic Victron VRM monitoring. The GlobalLink 530, on the other hand, uses full LTE Cat-1 connectivity, giving it broader carrier compatibility, stronger roaming capability, and generally more reliable operation in areas where LTE-M coverage is weak or inconsistent. The 530 is therefore better suited to commercial, mobile, or remote installations where connection reliability is critical. Both devices provide lightweight VRM telemetry rather than full GX system functionality, but the 530 is essentially the more robust and future-proof communication option.
